Hello, and welcome to my touch of creativity.

 

My name is Evelyn, I am located in Island Lake IL with a background in Healthcare. I was a Medical Assistant by trade, and became an Office Manager by opportunity. Today, I am a full time Mama & Wife. I have 3 kids, one of those whom I gave birth to, another as a bonus baby, and the big kid I am married to. Family is everything, plus some. I am happy to say, my husband and family support are the main reasons I am here today. Without the support and encouragement they all give me, I wouldn't have the time and energy to put into each and every order.

I have always had interest in arts, crafts and all that comes with it. Ive always enjoyed adding a "touch of Evelyn" to anything that allowed me to. It wasn't until about 5 years ago, when a coworker offered to pay me to make a birthday chalkboard for her daughter, that I realized others could see my talent. Following my first order, I was asked here and there, to make others. Fast forward to 2019 I finally believed in myself and took a leap of faith to try it out.

Today, I am happy to be here, not for the income, not for the popularity but because I love what I do. I enjoy every minute of it and, even if I lost money doing it, my mental health and wellbeing couldn't be in a better place. I  would like to thank and owe a big part of this to Dr. Veronica Arauz, for believing in me and encouraging me to display my talent. I would like to thank my family, friends and husband, for pushing me to keep going and always showing support via social media and word of mouth. Thank you to everyone that supported me from the start and gave me an opportunity to fulfill orders, all while I was still learning and understanding all that came with this.

Lastly, thank YOU for being here and for giving my little shop a chance.
